huntingtonlibrary:

Everyone, this weekend is your LAST CHANCE to check out "Illuminated Palaces." After Monday (Oct. 28), all those fantastic extra-illustrated books go off view and head back into the vaults. SO COME SEE THEM.

UPDATE: Ha! Just kidding. We’ve extended the exhibition to Nov. 18, so you have some extra time.

A path runs along the river near where my father lives and there are sculptures here and there along the path. What a place to walk! Woods and water to east, silos and farm fields to the west, and here and there sculptures rising out of the snow. I’ve been walking the path when I finish work. One piece by artist Danielle Krcmar is a small house made of wire and glass shatters that look like pieces of beach glass. It’s called “Fragment House.” I see the word ‘you’ in the twist of wire near the top in this photo. But it doesn’t say that.
